Privacy Policy

1. Information You Save

Tiny Words is designed for parents and guardians who want to save a child's words, voice, and small everyday moments. The app may store the following data on your device when you choose to enter or create it:

• Child profiles, including name, birthday, theme color, and optional photo
• Text records, voice recordings, transcripts, and AI reflection text
• App settings such as reminders, Live Activity preferences, and speech language

2. Storage and Sync

Your parenting records are stored locally with SwiftData. If iCloud is enabled, records sync through your personal Apple iCloud account so they can appear on your own devices. Tiny Words does not run an external content server for your records.

3. On-Device AI

AI reflection features use Apple Foundation Models on supported devices. Record content is processed on device and is not sent to Tiny Words servers for AI processing.

4. Analytics

Tiny Words uses Mixpanel for anonymous product analytics. Analytics events help us understand product usage, such as app opens, record creation counts, and feature taps. These events do not include your record text, child names, child photos, voice recordings, or transcripts.

5. Sharing

If you choose to share a record, card image, or voice recording through iOS sharing, you control the destination. Tiny Words does not publish or sell your records.

6. Deleting Your Data

You can delete records and child profiles in the app. Deleting the app removes local app data from that device. Data synced to iCloud can be managed through your Apple iCloud settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Tiny Words is intended for use by parents and guardians, not directly by children. Parents and guardians decide what information to save and manage.
